Made in France, the eco-friendly board was crafted in part with Jean-Pierre Stark, of STARK Surfboards, and designer Christophe Pillet. The board features specific FCS “performance glass” fins, polyurethane foam blanks and lamination of polyester resins and fiberglass.

Longer nights starting Tuesday

MANILA, Philippines – Longer nights will start on Tuesday, September 24, as the sun approaches the celestial equator.
In the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s monthly astronomical diary, day and night will have equal length on Monday, September 23 due to the autumnal equinox.
“Hence, thereafter, Philippine nights will be longer,” it said.
Equinox signals change of seasons. There are two equinoxes in a year, with the vernal equinox on March 21, which signaled the summer season. The autumn equinox, meanwhile, signals cooler weather as winds from the northeast would pass across the country.

It occurred to me this morning that Skateboarding has been around for quite some time now. People where shredding on clay wheels long before I was born paving the way for what has surely become a global phenomenon. It seems to me that Skateboarding is reaching heights never dreamed of and is finding its place among traditional sports like baseball and football. Parents aren’t so resistant to the idea of their children preferring to skate versus trying out for short stop on the HS Baseball team. I find this fascinating that in such a short time Skateboarding has gained such ground. Lets dive a little deeper into the history that’s shaped Skateboarding today.
